We are bringing our Bullet down on Friday Nov.7th and staying till Sunday. I have never boated in Key west before, is there someone we can run with that knows their way around?
I would like to keep the props and drives on the back of the boat!! Thanks

There will be a bunch of people heading out to the sandbar on sat the 8th around 11-12ish
the problem with that run is even though noon doesn't sound early it is. friday night is a BIG party on duvall street and it goes until the wee hours of the morning. so its a hit or miss on who makes it the next day.
but it is a great idea to hook up with someone that knows where they are going. also hopefully you have a gps with current software. you will need it.

12-15 miles is my guess. Not too bad at all.

Thanks for the info!!
The water directly around Key West is deep, the clear water will help you with the depth perception....darker water is better! Also keep in mind the crab pots are your friend, the water is usually 8-10 ft where ever you see those, just don't run the bouys over!
