you dont really see aerial/antena on or at least up much on go fast boats... why not?

I think most guys in performance boats are using handhelds so no need for an antenna there and usually FM is tapped into that and at this point who listens to a radio anymore. Everyone i know including myself have gone either XM/Sirius or flash recorded mp3 stuff (despite the poor quality of the recording) .

Pandora, on my STV I'm not even putting a deck in it. Rather, just running my mp3 or phone into a 5 channel amp with crossover and gain adjustments.

I assumed the OP meant VHF.
