Amazing how little of that boat is in the water most of the time

I wonder if that boat had steps would it make any difference at all to the performance.

Old school racers had their own way of aerating the hulls without steps.

I'm confused. Why does the boat keep coming out of the water? How come they don't turn every mile or so? That sure doesn't look anything like offshore racing to me! (sarcasm)

Yes, there is no question about it, that is/was Offshore Racing a few decade ago. But now a days the spectators can see the "entire race", right infront of them and the race boats going by more often then once. (truth)
