Just had a quick question on your boats. How deep is the cockpit on your boat at the helm? (To the of the gunnel ) and secondly how tall are the seat frames?
Thank you. Some pics wouldn't hurt either lol

I'll measure when I get a chance. When sitting, the top of the fairing is about even with the top of my shoulder, and I'm just shy of 6'.
Pasadena? You can come down and look at mine if you want.

I'm just gonna throw this out there and maybe I'm missing something but the height of your frames depends on the thickness of your seat. My original seats had the compartment under the cushion and sat higher then the seats we manufacture .
My seat now sets where I (6' tall) can just see over the windscreen but shorter people have to sit on a cushion. I've seen other y2k with drop downs and it looks like your gonna fall over the gunnel. If it's for you just mock it up to what feels good for you and don't worry about the heights of others boats. In the end just make sure you can plant both your feet comfortably on the foot rest..

Okay well I guess I will clarify, I'm ordering a set of PPI hi backs/skater buckets whatever you want to call them. I have all of their dimensions seat foam thickness, height from the base to the top of the cushion, overall height, width ect ect and am going to mock up a frame and see how it feels but I wanted a baseline as to where to start and where others are as far as height over the windscreen ect. I realize everyone is different as far as what feels normal or good to them. The seats take 4-6 weeks to get here, I have the ability to make the frames from aluminum and weld them up then get them PC-Ed. I was just trying to get a close ballpark so I can make the frames alittle long when the seats finally gets here I can set it up fit it perfect and ship them off is all.
