If the engine is not getting up to a high enough temp, it may be condensation. Reversion is another possibility. Internal leak near the front of the intake manifold. Yes, oil cooler is another possibility.

Tranny cooler
Intake
oil cooler
power steering cooler
head gasket
exhaust
engine oil not getting hot enough

I guess that is all I can think of for now

Well, if you have water in your power steering fluid which is in your engine oil, you have serious problems!

Another possiblity is a cracked block. It's usually a freeze induced crack that showes up in the lifter valley.

It may take a couple of good oil changes to get all the milk out. You may be seeing residual moisture from the crankcase contaminating the new oil. If it is just residual moisture then the oil level should not rise after you run it. If it does rise you havent found all the leaks yet. Get the oil hot then change it. Its hard to generate much oil temp running on the hose. I have heard of people adding a couple of quarts of deisel fuel to the oil then run it and change to get out all the moisture. I dont know what the exact procedure for this is though.

You guys have touched on something I am seeing in my boat. I didn't want to mention it on the board because I though you would think I'm nuts.

This situation usually happens right after an oil change.

I am seeing a Carmel color in my oil after first changing it. (Mobil 1 15w-50) Buddy said it is just condensation. Didn't make sense to me. My boat usually gets run on average no more then 30 minutes at a time, usually less. Going from point A to point B. If I don't run the boat for any length of time I see this in my oil. If I run it long enough to get everything up to operating temp and stay there for a good length of time I don't see the problem.

Keep in mind this is not a milky look, just a Carmel looking color. I can tell when I've run it hard that day by looking at the oil. If I run it hard the oil has good color.

Make sense to anyone?

damn buck.....i dont know whats goin on there.......maybe condensation.....but if you run it and it goes away, dont worry. if you run it and your level rises, there is a problem. somehow i am still getting water in my motor. it must be a head gasket that is pumping water into the oil tray(around the lifters) its not making the motor knock or anything.........its just hard to start once the engine is full of water. i guess iwill rip it down and replace both head gaskets after a compression check. i am not a happy camper!!!!
