Default Video 77 Lucas Oil - 2014 Key West - Onboard for Sunday's Race 2014.11.09

"It's a piece of cake in here" says Nigel Hook (9:42), but watch the onboard video and judge for yourselves about whether or not it was really as rough as reported.

What is your favorite line? Mine is at 5:00, when Kieran says "The boat looks great through that rough water. All of the other boats are getting real seriously out of control."

Great video, I like how calm they are in the rough water. The boat was flying very level from what I could tell from the Naval sea wall.

The Live Stream coverage was very good and multiple camera angles tell the story. http://new.livestream.com/sbi/keywes...ideos/67592749
While watching Live Steam the other night, we were surprised that even after they had settled into position, that the cats were so far out of shape lap after lap.
Most of the cat pictures people are sharing seem to me to be terrible examples of how an offshore boat should be run!

Hi Chris,
You are probably seeing the red tape around the forward hatch lifting?
Before testing or racing, the crew puts wide (red) tape over all the hatch edges to keep out water from rooster tails and/or rough seas.
