Hoss of an SUV: dually 8.1L Suburban (on eBay)
This isn't mine.
It doesn't have the Allison transmission in it, but it DOES have an 8.1L WITH A WHIPPLE CHARGER and what appears to be an intercooler.
No wonder why it has a Valentine one in the dash!
This would be a fun SUV!

This is right around the corner from me. I used to see this thing floating around town here and there. If anybody is seriously interested in it I could check it out for them. If I'm not mistaken it was originally owned by a guy with a 47 Fountain with triples. If that is true, I am sure it was done right when it was built.

...start with a diesel Excursion.
I've towed 12,000+ lbs. with that same platform, and while the engine is a hoss, (+the Whipple), the 4spd Auto 4L85E/M32 transmission is the weak link.
