I've heard hawk 525's are based off a merc 420, but is the same true for a hawk 502?

Does anyone have the crank/cam/piston and head numbers for a hawk 502?

Hawk 600 was a 502 with a b&m 250 blower. Not sure on cam and compression. I'll see if I can find out.

Is there such a thing as a "Hawk 502"? Im trying to do some research on a set of engines in a boat for sale. Trying to deciper the seller and wondering if they are 502ci hawk engines or "Hawk 502's"

No, hawk labeled the engines by hp, not cubic inch. Post a pic of the engine.

That's a hawk 600 in that top gun. Going to need a gen 5 502 block with 088 heads
