Getting ready to start buying parts soon,I am redoing shortblocks all new 540CI
I have 320CC all redone Pro Comp heads 118CC chambers, not sure flow but told they are comparable to dart and such with 320CC runner
Looking for general cam info and such, where cam was installed RPM max and that, dyno sheets would be cool, tring to get ideas of what to look at for cams, I can get cams I think that seem right up my alley, wanna see what other guys used in that range.

This was 3 boats ago, but they were CNC machined AFR heads, port matched.
Konrads were 78 or so
TRS were 74-75
I didn't bother playing with props. 1-2 miles per hour isn't worth the effort. Thousands of more efficient hulls out there if you want top end.

the one place you don,t want to skimp is the cylinder heads.the pro comp heads are pretty much junk.call bob madera ,he can get you a fair deal on AFR cylinder heads.

I would not have bought them, they were already on the 600's I bought, last summer I spent so much at Gellner making them right and perfect a few hundred more I could have bought heads, so they have been 100% brought up to par by a good name person. not buying heads after spending what I did on these.... new valves, seats, guides, keepers, retainers, valve job, on ly thing reused was springs since they checked out... EVERYTHING else has been redone.... Tom at GELLNER assured me they are fine now.... before not so much

PRO-COMP heads.....Ran a few sets on drag car builds and they still dont last, Im willing to bet there will be a post next year on how the engines dont make as much HP as they should, keeps blowing head gaskets, cant get rocker geometry correct, etc..... but suit yourself its your money. Just my experience.
