Does anyone have any experience/background on towing over 12000lb boat with motorhome? Was looking into trying to find something that would give us more sleeping capability when going to lakes. Most motor homes max out at 10,000lbs. Was told that we would need at least diesel i.e., cummins 15L 8.9L 450hp, possibly turbo charged w/Allison 3000 6-speed transmission. Any ideas?

What the max length you can run down the road in you state? I'm assuming your pull your 38, so on the trailer it's prob 45ft long....if you have a 35 motor home that puts you at 80 ft .... I don't think that can b done in any state

Looks to me that if your hauling "pole" when the sun is up on a weekday your all good.
There are a lot of joke I want put here right now but I shall refrain because in a past thread I have told I never post anything informative around here..... I just make smart ass remarks...
