Default Pimping the Fever w/remote stereo controls & underwater LEDS ????

Its down time and I want to add a remote stereo control on the stern. But I dont want to start drilling holes without finding out the best location. I was thinking the inboard side of the swim platform sorta near cleat. I need to be able to reach it from the water and yes the Head unit will accept a remote. Second question has anyone out there installed underwater lights and can they offer up any suggestions or advise?

Ford I installed a remote in the same place, really didnt get used all that often. See if your head unit accepts the water proof, floating remote that works up to about a 100ft range.

I purchased the clarion head unit with a radio frequency remote. The remote is wireless up to 200', water proof, and it floats. Way easier and no holes in your boat. Mine doesn't work 200' but it works perfect from right behind the boat (full disclosure).

Way to easy to go this route in my opinion.

Here is the remote. It will work with any clarion head unit.

I just installed a remote system in my 32 Fever that is radio frequency. www.remotesthatfloat.com sells them but did not answer my email so I did some research and found the manufacturer of their system: http://ideasthatfloat.com/ I bought direct from them. Have your head unit model number ready when you call. Only way to go IMO no holes to drill and when your head unit is outdated you can replace it without having holes drilled in your awesome boat for outdated wired remotes. I Installed it but yet to have it out on the water to test the range since it's winter here in Oregon...
