Everyone going to the races in Grand Haven
We better make a different meeting spot guys!! The Coast Guard is going to close the Grand River channel in Grand Haven at 10 am on Sunday!!! If your launching in G.H. make sure you get ouf of there before 10am!!
I'm planning on launching in Muskegon now and taking on the lake to GH.

After looking at the course layout, I think the southwest end will be the place to be. If the wind is out of the south tomorrow like it is forecasted, anchoring there will put the stern towards the race for best viewing.

I am going to put in in Muskegon around 9:00 or so and run down. And I didn't think they were actually closing the channel, just wouldn't be able to head south once you got to the end. I could be wrong though.
