Great article and I hope the Chicago area boaters get out in force on this one. The part I find particularly troubling is:
"If passed, the legislation may also force stations with limited gas pump selections to replace their current E10 dispensing selection with E15 to meet the mandate."
It's hard enough for many folks to figure out which fuel (87, 89, 92 or Diesel) to put in their vehicle right now. That part is going to virtually assure the destruction of marine engines by confused consumers. Then again, confused voters are what politicians have depended on (and preyed on) for years. And we all know what Chicago style politics are like. Words continue to fail me.
