Default What's the latest trend in Boat paint schemes?

I am in the process of sketching some ideas for a retro-mod Scarab project. It seems to me that the bow to stern super-wild color and pattern thing may be taming down a bit for newer boats and paint jobs. Not quite white with stripes, but more organized "themes" in the paint.
Many of you guys (and gals) of OSO are around thousands of different boats a year. What's the trend?

I've noticed that as well....especially with the new Cigs....they are almost a little too plain IMO. Do what YOU like but at the same time I see how you want to do the most modern paint job on the market if you are spending all that time and money! Post some of those sketches up and enjoy the process!

I would look at Outerlimits schemes for ideas. I think they are some of the best. Enough lines and color, but not crazy busy.

Don't be trendy. Do what you want to do. I say go for nice simple graphics.
