The "44" looks amazing. Please make sure they flood the market with these, preferably with the 1100's and 1350's... I wouldn't mind picking up a used one in a few years!

Sorry, but you can only get 1 with 1100's:

I'm excited to see how it runs speed wise compared to a 38, 40, or the new 428 skater

I read that a while ago... I will be surprised if that holds true in the future. In fact, I think you're kidding yourself if you don't think 1350's or more will not make it into these hulls, either from the factory or after they leave Mystic. While I agree these boats are fast enough (this is probably a 150 mph boat with the 1100's), I'm sure customers will demand the larger engines to feed their egos or to keep up with the Jone's. Maybe John doesn't care, but if it comes down to it, I wouldn't be surprised if some folks opt for a different manufacturer if he wont sell his 44 with the larger engines. Not to mention there's nothing keeping the customer from refitting the larger engines once they take delivery anyway. Either way, it won't take long before we see more than 1100's in this hull!

While I think its admirable for John sell the boats with limited power, the fact is it's a losing battle to think he can control the limit on power. BTW, I find it interesting John is limiting the power from the factory, yet his 50's are known to be the fastest in the world. Interesting that he's now concerned about limiting speeds.

Hopefully one of those 3900's will be built with FPT diesels and X-Power drives
