If you are waiting for a race boat movie try seeing "MADISON" the move. Fortunately for some, unfortunately for others, it is about unlimited hydroplanes and not Offshore.
It can, however, give you an idea how a boat racing community works together.
Those that have viewed the pre-release have glowing compliments and closeness to REAL events and the excitement of the close to 200MPH racing.
Since Phantom Choas did such a magnificent slueth job on Miami Vice maybe he could get some inside skinny stuff on Madison.

The release is supposed to be later this mont or in October.

Hey I worked on this movie with Mitch and Mark Evans....I know nothing, nothing at all

Yes we need a good movie centered around offshore boats. The trouble is that most boating movies are butchered up and look real cheesey. The sounds are all wrong and the boats run across the screen in fast motion to make them look like there going faster than they are. Whats up with this? I beleive the only way to have a good boating movie is to have a real boater directing the water action shots.

I needed a boating fix today, popped in the speedvision tape of last years Corpus Christie race.......ahh that feels good.

I thought I read an article last year in powerboat mag, about a movie centered around Don Aronow? I'll have to try and dig that up.
