Default Info on 25' Aronow Cat

Does anyone know anything but this boat?
A local dealer has one for sale on consignment.
It is a 1988 w/ a couple of mid nineties 2.5's on
it. The boat is in good codition but the guy is asking
$59,000.00. Is this guy nuts or is it just me?

I think there were only 3 made but hat is a lot of money, make him an offer and see what they say?

Has anyone ever ridden in them?

Wasn't that a 25 magnum cut down the middle??? As I recall T2x had some not too nice things to say about the Aronow cats-might want to look up that history of Cats thread.

NOPE...not a "split" vee like the others, the boat had a "Mike Peters" look to the bottom design, maybe even like the 25 Talon...hmmmmmm! but can't remember who did it...

The boat has a very shallow center pod and two steps.

there is an old donzi "split" cat around here. The guy just put 2 pro max 300s and she will only run in the 80s and god is it homely looking.

Not to mention bottom painted.......

There was one for sale up in the Toronto area about a year ago.
The asking price was around $24,000 on a trailer with 2.5's.
I thought it was a 24' hull. FYI only.

be very leery about it.the one that was for sale in the Toronto area has been through several owners in the last 10 years. It was originally owned by my buddy who unloaded it for scrap when the entire front deck blew off after hitting a fair sized wave.It appeared to be built pretty crappily from the get go.It was never fast for its power and handled almost ok.The price you are quoting is way high unless those 2.5's are brandy spanking new IMHO.
