Hello everyone... .time to upgrade. I have a 2000 47 Lightning and am looking to upgrade from the taller windshield to a newer shorty style one. (shorter in front). Any condition is good.... PM, Email, or reply with info.
Thanks in advance!

Yes, mine is the plexiglass style. I could cut it... but the upper rail then becomes too short and needs to be lengthened. Just dont want to mess with it if someone already has one sitting around.

I think you're going to have a pretty hard time finding someone who wants to get rid of one. If you do a search of this forum there are lots of people looking to go from Tall to short none the other way. Apparantly new ones from Fountain are in the 7-10 range, or you cut it down and lengthen your top rail. I don't mean to be negative just hoping to save you some time

Depending on your type of boating how about going with the all white Lexan or Plexiglass wind screen type. I have seen a couple 47 Fountains with that style & I thought it looked pretty cool.
I think the windscreen style looks far less dated than the tall windshield.
