I'm looking for history info on the 2007 Fountain that is for sale at pier 57 in Chicago.

Nice looking ride. Get a reputable surveyor and qualified mechanic to thoroughly go over it and sea trial it. Don't make the mistake I did. They are not as reputable as they once were.

This is the best advice you can get and should be done no matter what the dealer's reputation might or might not be. There are plenty of things that can be lurking that the dealer doesn't legitimately know about. Get a good surveyor to check the hull and systems and get a Merc. certified mechanic to check the propulsion systems including doing compression and leak down tests on the motors. Additionally, with a leak down tester, you/he can pressure test the headers while they are still on the boat; just need to get some fittings and some caps to block off the jumper port and the water intake port..
