Default Found my old boat 4 sale.

Interesting. lol Small world. I found my old boat that was flipped on I-75 in 2007. Insurance totaled it, some one bought it and here it is. Beware. FYI. Not to be confused with my current Avanti, which is a new hull in 2008. Similar but different graphics.

Not sure how it ended up in MI, but I talked to a guy in Chicago back in mid 08 wanting to buy it from the ins. Co. After the incident the hull had lot of "road rash" etc. One of the drives broke off, lot's of work to get it fixed. I assume some one ended up with it, left it uncovered, interior got trashed now they fixing it up for sale.

Call him tell him you may be interested in it. Ask him if it's ever been wrecked. See how honest he is.

Do you have any pics of the mess?
Just curious.

I'm willing to be that boat has changed hands a couple times and the current owner has no idea the history of it.

Now that you say that I think I did see bit of that paint scheme peeking out last time I was by there. Pics are definitely in Andy's shop.

Honestly I really don't care if the "owner" honest or not what he knows etc. and I won't waste my time. Just FYI to any possible interested peeps. There were major hull scrapes, and deep groves all over from the flip. Structurally I didn't see anything, but I would be curious how well one can repair and "add" fiberglass to the hull as "fill" in at all the damaged areas. I'll post some pics later.
