Default Going Digital (removing livorsi guages)

With prices of 12 inch MFD from Simrad, Raymarine, and Garmin at a somewhat affordable price I want to remove all the analog gauges and install (1) MFD for everything such as Engine data, Chartplotter, Depth Finder, ect. Has anyone here done that yet and what are you glad you did it? About to order a new unit and have it installed before the season starts but what to make sure I'm not going to missing something I will regret. Any info or insight is appreciated.

Pm "double rigged". You can find him in the Skater section. He can tell you anything you want to know about marine electronics and going to a "glass" helm.
