My father owned a 27' Magnum Sport for 19 years or so. When he bought it used, it needed a new interior, engines, trim issues, ect. He called Magnum when he bought the boat I guess around 1986, and the people at the factory where helpful and nice. Through the years I would call an an order a new decal for hull side or a shirt for my father for his birthday or father's day, small potatoe sh*t, I was not and still am not a viable prospect for their current boat lineup.

Each year I get a Christmas card, signed by Ms. Theodoli, this year may not be a hand signature, but in years past is was a personal signature. To me that is impressive, while I may be on a mailing list, for her to take the time to sign Christmas Cards means something. Some may be dismissive and say no big deal, but as past salesman, and sales manager, it is the little things that can affect a prospect-new customer or client. In the day of the internet, email, voice-mail, text-messaging, and SKYPE, we have a new generation of business that have lost that art of making the customer feel like family, feel appreciated, feel wanted. The art of wooing the customer, and asking for referrals is being lost in some industries. While I may not be a prospect, I would refer someone to Magnum over another brand, and that is what the little thing like a Christmas does, to me at least.

I do business with companies that treat me with respect, that are honest, and do care about their customers, present and past. This Magnum Christmas card may be insignificant to some, but to me reflects how the Theodoli's run their business, a class act.

Thank you Ms. Theodoli, I wish I had the ability to buy a 80' Magnum or the new 100' Magnum, I am a Magnum loyalist.

Yes, that is who bought the boat from my father, a very nice guy. He wanted that boat, he said he liked it as a kid, and now (years ago) as an adult he owns. I have the same feeling that a boat I liked as a kid was and is the 35' Cigarette "Wild Turkey" ( a NJ boat), and the 29' Mirage "Wolverine" for boats that are still out there, and the Mirage looks fantastic pictures that have been posted in recent years.

You saw it at the same place in this picture, right? Tim Sharkey took this picture, mentioned it to me....I miss that boat, So many great memories, so so many races, I had girlfriends, a wife, then no wife all during the time my father owned that boat, the girls hated it, too windy, too loud, the boat scared them because we raced anybody, anywhere, my father was pretty a good wheel-man, I wasn't too bad either. I love the line from Talladega Nights, "I wanna go fast," and in the late 80's and early 90's ( I was like Rickey Bobby, I got the opportunity to go fast) we did go fast in that Magnum....

That is correct, .. he has the mold for the 27'. And will build you a 27' or a 39' he has the Dragon molds for the 39', I like his 39'.

The last time I spoke with owner, he need one of the tail pipes fixed, I may be incorrect but that is a pain in the ass, my father had one of his employees weld them/construct them, the are fully jacket, water inject right at the very end. It is was truly custom tail pipes with the Glenwood manifolds on the Hairy Canary
