in case you are interested this is a goldmine of info. Has anyone every put 1000 + hp engines in these? I always wondered how fast that hull would be with power

I'm pretty sure with 1000's they will break 80 lol

I think Miami Vice is the only series on TV that I have ever watched. I think if they brought it back in present continuing from the movie and did not cut corners it would be a big hit. These producers need to step out of the box and give use something for our money. They need to turn the boring CSI Miami into Miami Vice.with some BOAT ACTION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few years back I owned an 88 Scarab lll with stock power and no thru hull exhaust...
.yes.. it was beautiful looking..
.no..it was not fast...
it barely got to 60 mph...

Yup........we started it as a mission to track down all the Miami Vice TV show and Edition 38KV scarabs. We have a pretty good network of owners and buyers/sellers and a lot of history that can be used for future owners, Plus a ton of pics!
