Default Qatar Racing Club suspends sponsorship to Al-Anabi (NHRA)

Will be interesting to see what affect this has on the Offshore Racing teams from Qatar. Says they are suspending all motorsports support in America. Must be cut backs from oil price dropping?

NHRA has been struggling over all, Castrol dropped Force too. ROI was not there. NHRA has been boring for years,(for general audiences) but thats been the problem with Offshore too. On the upside cheaper fuel prices will probably bring more interest into lower classes. Just as small tire drag radial is gaining popularity.

If oil prices go down to $2.00 my feelings wont be hurt for NHRA. Sorry, but i think the value of $2.00 gas is already evident in the economy.

I DVR every race, but we don't have long enough summers in Michigan to go and attend a race.

With gas at $2/gallon, I can go run my car at Milan a little more and watch it on TV a little less. Ok. A lot less if you factor in the time spent repairing/upgrading what I'll break at Milan.

At $1.00 a gallon I can cut my grass once a week instead of every 2 weeks.
