I'm curious to find out what the value of a merc 525sc is. It has approximately 23 hrs on the rebuild, I bought it with 15 hrs on it and have only ran it for one summer, about 6 hrs or so. I bought the engine from Derry berry performance marine in pottsborro tx and there the ones that rebuilt it. They freshened the engines for a customer he ran them for another summer and decided to upgrade to 100hp. Anyway I bought one and put it in a welcraft concept 23 that I have been working on new paint and upholstery, I've been thinking of selling it or them but I'm not sure if the two are worth selling together or separating the engine and selling it alone and re powering the boat with stock power to resale??? Any insight from others would be greatly appreciated!!

5-7k for a 525SC is about the norm.
