Hey guys I'm working a deal on a 311sr1 hull for a clean slate build how I want it poker run project. What areas to look for as far as trouble or soft spots? I know the cabin floor between the seat was pulled to check the stringers and the stringers are solid and not soft. I ko w if I can get to it to check the foam around the fuel tank. What else to check or any problem areas besides these?
Also I will be starting from scratch as far as power drives etc. Seriously considering going to kaamas. Any pros or cons that would be real breakers. I'll building for reliability AND speed.

Depending upon how stripped the bare boat hull is, price out very carefully what it will cost to bring it back to your standards. Generally, it is much less expensive to buy one ready to go than to build back a stripped one. That being said, I love me a good rebuild story, so if you do it, please keep us posted.

Will do. I know itll cost a pretty penny that's fine. I'd rather build one as I have cash than have a boat payment though lol. Hence why my fever is for sale and I'm looking at this one. Also as far as bang for the buck would I be better with Kaamas or an SSM drive setup? I really dig the look and performance of the kaamas.
