what are the main differences between the 26 CV and the 28 excel? The 26 CV im lookin at is a 1990.

That's what I was thinking. Thanks. I'm going to look at a cv tomorrow. Never seen one up close.

Believe the CV has a Kevlar hull.

I think the larry smiths and the F1 boats do, but maybe the CV's do as well. Archer Marine would probably know for sure. The new one they built is pretty nice looking.

The Wellcrafts are not Kevlar and only some of the LS Scarabs are. I have a brand new 26 for sale any power you want.

FYI, There appears to be at least one 89 28 Excel that is Kevlar....
