I was just wondering why it is that all the Florida events are priced so high. As a boater I would love to run some of these events, but it prices some of us smaller boaters out of the runs by the time you figure entries, fuel, lodging, meals, and the cost of getting there and back. I do understand that this type of boating is a rich mans game, but I have been to several other poker runs that were nice and not as costly. I would like your thought on this but please keep your sarcastic remarks to your self!!!!!!

The point being "getreal" is that its about enjoying a sport that I would say 85% of the people that own the types of boats we have are in the PRIUS category. I went to the memorial fun run in Sarasota on New Years day and it did not coast anything and there were all shapes and sizes of boats. It was a very nice and fun day and no one turned their nose up at you because you was not in a Nor-Tech cat!
