Good find sir. Maybe you are aware, maybe not. Detroit is back on the schedule for 2015. Unfortunately it's set for Labor Day weekend. Which means, most likely I won't be able to volunteer this year as I will probably be out of town :-(.

No I was not aware of the date, it is to bad that you will have to miss the race,it is going to be a big lose for the race and for me. I can't tell you how much I appreciated you volunteering for both days and doing such a great job along with the others. I have a bunch of photo's from the race but just haven't had a chance to put them on a DVD but when I do, you will get a copy along with the other volunteers. My wife has had some health problems that required an operation out of town and we go weekly to the Hospital and the good news is that she is doing better. Thanks. Andy

Thanks Butch!
It is very much appreciated, what you and your volunteers had done for the 1st, Inaugural Detroit International Motor City Powerboat Championships last year and offering your services this year again says a lot about you and your Association. We will have to wait for the Official OPA Race Schedule to come out and then see what they have in store for this year. Thanks again Butch.

The Race is held on the Detroit River in front of the City of Detroit and the City of Windsor with the GM Building on the U.S. side and Chrysler Canada on the Canadian side.

Here is a link to the 2015 schedule. http://oparacing.org/schedule.html
I would love to volunteer again. But its a good bet I will be out of town. Even if I was in town, it would be a tuff sell to ditch the wife and child Sat/Sun of Labor Day weekend.......... I am going to try an volunteer for the St Clair OPA which is in late July.
