I searched but wasn't able to find an answer to this problem. My starboard drive stops with the propshaft parallel with the hull bottom and won't go the rest of the way down without being in forward gear or somebody pushing on it. It is about 3 on the indicator all the way down is 0. Both oil tanks are full and both drives work fine besides this issue.

What things do I check to find the problem?

Possibly a bad limit switch??

Probably not a limit switch going down. Does the pump sound like its laboring? Could be a pump or a trim cylinder getting stuck. And possibly a nut came loose on the piston inside the trim cylinder.
