Default Ls..... Engine tear down intervals?

Getting more interested in the whole low boost ls engine idea for around 750hp.

What would be safe tear down intervals?
Directly comparing to same hp in a NA big block. With equal quality internals.

Sorry, I know it's slightly vague but I'm just keen to work out if the ls is as good as it's sounding on paper.

how much boost ? thats the real factor as long as you did the engine correctly for boost...careful be sure to use upgraded wrist pins when one fails bad thing happen...

Not really sure? Just enough to make 750hp. 8-12psi?
As you mentioned, assuming all internals selected for the task. Guess I just want to know if it's comparable to a NA big block or if you'd be replacing things sooner due to the blower?

For extended heavy higher rpm loads in the marine environment, I don't know that I would call 750 hp or 8-12 psi "low boost". On the strip that's nothing, but in a boat that's whole different ball game. I don't think there are too many 750hp+ boosted LS engines out there being put through durability testing in offshores at this point, but a few are starting to trickle out now so hopefully we start hearing good things.

I would say at least as long, or longer interval then a BBC. Depending on how hard you run it, possibly much longer. The reason being, the LS valve train is much lighter and more stable, the heads flow a ton of air, so the cam profiles can be very tame in comparison. The chambers are very soft, and efficient. As long as you run sufficient octane to not have to crutch the tune up through excess fuel or reduced timing, it will have no problems longterm. The blocks are very stiff, there's less rotating mass, less pumping loss, friction, etc.

for that setup, I would do a turbo/blower piston, upgraded wrist pins, forged rods, stock crank fine, felpro or LSA/LS9 GM head gaskets(these are .010 thicker) about 16 deg timing under boost...

Retter Engine Development has a 900hp LS Twin Turbo motor they are introducing. He is looking at a 12mo warranty and rebuilds Aprox at the 250hr range. https://www.facebook.com/RetterEngineDevelopment
