This one is manufactured by Twister Marine in Finland. They run under the banner of 3C in Sweden, Finland, Dubai and a few other places I'm sure.
The W class is a 'entry level' or retirement class with same size cats as in 3C but with a smaller 150hp.

The UIM C3 (225) Class requires a side x side canopy set up with an escape hatch on the bottom. The Other series seems to prefer the F16 style
canopy.

Cost on a new race lay-up twister (with canopy) is apprx 28k EU is what I have been told. Other manufactures are Argo, Argintiania Hot Boat, Hydrolift (or Hydro Cat) ..
and a few others.. its like trying to track down a missing person with these guys as no one has a web site..

Specs
Length - 25ft
Width - Not Sure, but the new wide body is wider than a shipping container
Weight - 1850lbs class limit (less driver/throttle man)

Power -
Mercury 200hp ROS engine (In the Finiish series)
Evenrude 225hp (In the UIM C3 Series)

Speeds:
The older boats have a top speed of 102/103mph and in race lay-up approx 95-98mph depending on conditions
The newer wide body boats have a top speed of 106mph and run 99-101mph in race lay up
The Rude 225HO runs about the same, maybe a tick slower.. but the Mercuy 200ROS dynos at 230-245 from the factory

There is only 1 Wide Body Twister in the USA at this time, its a "Open" pleasure boat version rigged with a Merc 300 that
has already been over 120mph, I think hes at 126 now but not 100% sure.

Build -
Core and Fiberglass, not wood like some people have posted.

This boat shown is forsale right now, complete less Engine for 28,500.00EU (approx 32,500 us$)

I think this would make a GREAT spec class. quite a bit more affordable than a Super V lite.

I don't think the class needs to be a 100 MPH class. Maybe 80 MPH which means even lowering the cost and raising reliability. A 25 foot boat at 80 MPH would be perfect IMO

Than run the 150hp H.O. engines.. I think Sug.Retail on a new ETec 150HO is 14,500.00 and I have seen some dealers selling them at 12,500.00.

How do you throttle when you are sitting behind someone. That must take some practice to get use to it.

I would think the side by side seating with a hatch in the bottom should be the spec for safety. Thoughts?

Would a 150 get it going 75 MPH? That sounds fast for that power. Also any word on the handling and turning on them

Very cool boat could be a fun class. Also there is tons of engine options.
