Podium picture for Supercat and Supercat light. Randy & Jay won today's final race but fell short just by seconds from winning first overall in that class. It was great to be here and was an experience of a lifetime. We were all made to feel very welcome and treated royally.

Story update:
Joe Sgro underwent an MRI and reportedly, with the possibility of a concussion, everything has checked out fine.
I spoke with Steve Curtis who said that neither he nor Sgro can recall rolling over in the boat. Both skegs were torn off the drives, so it may in fact have been a spin. In the photo sequence I look at while reporting from German reporter Sven Sieveke, it appeared that the boat had rolled. However, the accident displaced a tremendous amount of water in the air so the boat may, in fact, have remained upright through the incident.

Both Motley and Peppers had better races today than on Thursday, but neither finished on the podium in either race. Pro Floors Racing, a New Zealand "stretched" 34-foot Skater powered by 525s finished third overall (per the article) in the Supercat class.
