I got an email from Travelocity today. One of the hotels on the promo was the GreenView hotel. It's less than 100 yds from the Convention Center and recently remodeled.

The current rates for Thurs-Sun were $292 per night. Last-minute SoBe style that is extremely cheap.

Thanks for the info wish I knew this beforehand but have something real close to the marina. Won't be any good for next year as the location change for the show. It is unreal how expensive over the years to go to the show has become from start to end. I remember the days when parking was 4 to 5 bucks for the whole day, heck now its 20 to 30 dollars per day just to park and rooms years ago could be had for 150 and down per nite. Now its over 300 bucks a nite for just an average room.

I hope people here got a few of them. I usually watch all the rates but I had quit watching on Thursday when we got within 7 days of the show.

I do this for every poker run or race I travel to during the summer. I usually have extra rooms until a few days before each event when I give them to friends or offer them up here.
