Default All white 33avs Scarab new paint need ideas...

Just picked up a 33 avs last week but I couldn't stand the paint. It was a shame sanding it off as it was in perfect shape but it had to go. Now I have a blank slate to start with a need some suggestions. We will be doing some vinyl graphics on it but not a full wrap.

Should I recreate the scarab waving checkered flag of the early 2000's or lay something totally different. I'm all ears!

Digging the all white as well. If there was enough gel left to where you could buff it out I'd toss a chrome/black SCARAB decal below the rub rail at the back on both sides and rock it until I could swing a simple, tasteful paint scheme. Sometimes less is more.

I like the white also.. But I kinda looks like a drug runner. I have the same issue myself what to do. Good luck. I may strip mine down and see how she looks just for sh$ts and giggles

+5 for all white. Looks killer! I'd keep it white for a year and see how it goes. You'll either dig it, or you'll spot something else on the water that you want to replicate.

I like the all white. Maybe try a wrap to see what you like before you paint it. I always thought it would be cool to have a boat painted Mercedes Silver but never had the balls to do it.

598, yes as long as there is a decent amount of gel on it you can DA sand with 320 then 600 wet by hand and then 800 and 1000 and 1000 will buff. 1500 if your arms are not dying by then and you havent gotten fired from work yet.. lol sometimes with factory decals on older boats the gel will have essentially stained by the sun and you cant sand it enough to make the yellowing go away. but yes, you can strip a boat and wetsand and buff it out about 80% of the time

as for a paint idea, i think do a silver fade to white on the stern going forward. and put the scarab logo down the side on the bottom of the hull sides. it would look sharp
