No pics yet. Guy that owns the place where it's stored could make out the old MC number in the paint.
No pics or info until he clears it with the owner....as it should be

Is it Miami Vice Edition? or one of the two Original Miami Vice Scarabs?? A good way to tell is by the Paint. The two Originals had 13 color fade jobs, the ones welcraft made only had 5-7 colors..

Marc's was an Edition boat.
There were six screen boats over the four seasons (two from each model year), three loaner boats for Don (one from each model year used) and 33 Edition boats built. Every boat had the same 28 hues of color on the side stripe by blending the three primaries. Roy Milaman (Fergie) from Magic Brush was brought into paint the first boats for season 2. He painted others and trained the painters who would be doing the others. The season 2 screen boats were also the only Vice related boats to have painted decks. From that point on all Vice related boats had Aqua gel decks to save time and cost.
The only differences between show boats and edition boats, was the stripes.
The side stripes on the show boats were lower on the hull with the bottom dropping off the hull below the fairing at mid ship and the deck stripes terminated at the bow with a finished edge.
On the edition boats, the side stripe was higher on the hull and the whole stripe went to the stern, giving it a narrower appearance, with the deck stripes running off the end of the bow.

I don't see a photo manager on my posts.
Does everything have to be done through a third party now?

Yes, all free memberships have to use 3rd party.
