Hi, I'm looking for a 1 week house rental with dock on the lake in july or august. 3-4 bedroom preferred on the lake. I'm picky and clean, so the house should be too. Thanks, LJ

Any particular area of the lake ?
Have you been here before ?
Reason for asking, a very rocky lake with tons of coves and etc and some people are paranoid of certain areas.
According to the news, realtors are scrambling to find new rentals to post because most of there's are taken.
I'll ask around for people (owners) I know that shy away from the Realtors.
No promises, of course...I'll ask.

Thanks and yes I have family in Merideth,NH, they have a house next door but the rent is out of my league for one week 15K!! ouch. and we have been on the lake. I haven't been there with a boat I care about as far as cove hopping. This year were taking the Sunsation and we'll probably just go to the sandbar, naswa, and dinner in alton. I had to launch at Christmas tree last time then store the trailer 5 miles away. Looking for something alittle more convenient this time around. Plus I gotta get a lake license. It's all worth it at dusk with the sun setting and sitting on the boat. :-) Thank-you for the info.

Not everything is 15k, but there is a lot at 15K.....ahem...and up.
My shop is in Meredith and I live in Moultonboro. Again, I'll ask around.
BTW: Are you referring to Sandy Point in Alton? If so...have aback up plan. Was a family favorite of ours for tons of years, not any more. I do go to Dad's Clam Shack in Alton still though. Just makes for a tough boat ride home, digesting all those clams and such. LOL.
If you haven't gone to O's in Laconia yet...I suggest doing so. Hard to get there by boat as it is at the dam in LA....unless you know someone at Irwin Marina or Lakeport that could snag dock for for you for a few hrs and walk across the street.
15k....hmmmm....I'l rent you a dock for half that. LOL.

Center Harbor or the Center Harbor side of Moultonborough will put you in a nice part of the lake. How many people are looking at coming and do you have specific dates? My family has a house they rent down Moultonborough Neck Road, in Ash cove. It is simple and small, but the spot is fantastic on the lake.

This is the house. I spent every summer vacation from when I was born until I moved up here full time in that place. Great memories and lots of fun was had here growing up. We live two minutes away on the lake now.
