OK here's the deal guys....I am putting together a boat and have a set of 2009 525's,HP gimbles, and XR's setting in the floor... The boat is gonna be for sale and I'm scared to death that I'm gonna have to much money in it. So, I'm looking to give these up in trade for some LOW HOUR 496's and X Drives... This is a GREAT trade for someone... Need $$$$ to boot, depending on what the motors look like....... The 525's are Fresh with run stand hours only... Had around 115 hours before teardown.... So I don't get it. Your going to trade away motors with a higher value and then sell the boat for less money? Is this correct or am I missing something?

I have a set of 500EFI's with Bravo X drives. Drives were just gone through, but motors have 300 hours or so on them. I would be interested in trading + adding cash of course.

Yes, I bought the boat without motors hoping to find some 496's/X Drives... I just don't think the boat will bring the money with 525's. It's just not a Great name brand boat and it's kinda ugly..... So, I will have a lot less in the boat with 496's making it easier to sell....

How much for 500 hp motors?

Hello Bullit. I have a pair of 496HO's with X drives. Manufacturing date is October, 2004, they have been fresh water and have 266 original hours on them. Totaling stock and never apart. Are the 525's complete with exhaust? If so, side by side or staggered? What year are they? Looks like you are in Texas, and I am in Maryland which could be a challenge, but I would consider a trade. What kind of cash you looking for?
