Default Anyone heard of RAPTOR BOATS out of CA?

I've got a 29' fountain and been thinking about going to a cat. The problem is im not ready to go w/ twin motors yet, just one big one! Who makes a great quality single engine cat??? I know Eliminators do (which I don't really care for) and I've seen a DCB (which I'm sure I couldn't afford!)? I just seen a nice looking 30' Raptor though. Whats their story?! Any good?! Hall design, fast?, strong? Built good? What are my better options?!

Just for consideration,,, The care and feeding a 2 realitively tame motors can be less intensive than 1 big mean beast.....

I've seen a post on Craig's list a while back for the raptors, I thought it was on the east coast. Someone had a mold for a single engine raptor cat you could buy a new unrigged hull.

So you don't care for Eliminators? And you like the Raptors? Sorry, not seeing it.

+1 on that. I just saw a raptor on FB. Had single ram steering on an XR and a stick of automotive radiator hose coming up from the pump. I'm sure Raptor is a lot better boat than an Eliminator.....Right. The OP is getting ready to learn this hobby the hard way.....

its compsring apples to oranges when you have it about eliminator and raptor ,the raptor offer a hull whit interior for about 35K and eliminator is about 100 + for a 28 DCB would be more then double of that ,been there done that last year and have a predator build as we speak .
So what you pay for is what you get in my opinion, its just what you expect to get for a boat or want to spend
