Wife is wanting to go to the kw races this year..can it be done dragging along a 3yo? We like to travel with our child and if that isnt possible we will put the plans on hold until she is older. Our baby loves boats/poker runs ect and she likes watching reruns of boat races on tv. However at 3 she has her limitations.

I don't see why it would be a problem. The group that goes there like to party, we raised twin boys and took them on most of our vacations. There is other things you can find to do and not have to hang at the bars.

Sure. Just keep kids away from Duval St. On the days of racing view races from Fort Zachary Park and the kids can swim in ocean between heats.

I am thinking of doing the same thing. I have a 7yo, 3yo, and 4wk old, but the youngest wouldn't be coming. Good to know I'm not the only crazy one!

We took our kids (ages 3 and 1 at the time) 2 years ago to the 2012 KW worlds, had a great time with them, still got to see the races, friends, poker run/ boats, etc. Just have to know when and where to take them to certain places, my wife and I did take a night each and watched the kids so the other could go out with friends without the kids...... It was def easier to go without them last year but we would and will take them again at some point.
