Default Reputable marina/mechanic in Traverse city area?

I am looking at a boat to purchase in the Belle Aire/Traverse City area and want to have the motors checked out. Any recommendations? Looking to have a compression and leak down test.

Thanks for the #. I gave him a call yesterday and he said he mainly just works on his friends boats.

Thanks. Its a 1994 formula 336. I was told it spent most of its life on a covered lift on mission point.

I never saw it leave the lift!

I used to live a mile down the road on old mission and always wanted to introduce myself to a fellow powerboater but never saw them use it. Sounds like a nice low hour boat!

Very cool! The tachs are only showing 356 hours. We are all set to bring her home pending sea trial...at this rate it might take till may to thaw lake charlevoix.
