This has been for sale for a while. Other than top ends prolly needing done and a trailer, it seems priced well. Anyone know what's up?

Sure..if you can get Glenn to return your phone call. I called him twice on this boat and left 2 messages. No call back. It does need a really good cleaning and possibly some touchup paint work and minor interior work. Other than that, you're right...needs a trailer and the motors have never been touched.

Hey Tim, It's Mark Johnson. Clean out your in box. My phone crashed and I lost Your #. I can't believe you are still boatless. We are loving your old boat. We go to cumberland every chance we get. That boat your looking at looks good. Give me a call when you get a chance. We need to get out on the river this year. Take care! Mark

I talked to him about a month ago. He said the interior is really rough, it has no trailer and most importantly Powerquests just don't sell in that area. I was trying to gauge interest in my boat and I was possibly going to list it with him and he said they've never had luck selling PQ's down there.

Hey Mark! Hope all is well. Just window shopping right now. I have no idea what I want (still). I'll shoot you a text so you have my number.

It sounds like a good price but remember a decent used trailer is 6-7000 and a new one 10k+. Interior work aroun 2k (depending on how bad) and top end for 500's several hundred dollars if you do it yourself. Before you know it you are between 75 and 80k.

I have a 2003 with 496 HO's on trailer with electric over hydraulic brakes. Brand new enclosure (bimini and aft), cockpit and full boat covers. I know the 496's aren't as favorable as the 500's, but mine only have 140 ORIGINAL HOURS on the boat! I would sell for 75k.

While I'm sure your boat is nice, that's not much of an argument. A 500 boat with new top ends, new interior and a new trailer for the same price as your 496 boat? Granted the buyer wouldn't have to go through all the trouble, but isn't that why we buy boats....to get into trouble?

The beauty of boat shopping is that there are always good deals Everyone's boat is for sale.
