Default xr drives with 2 inch imco shorties

What the most power anyone put throught xr drives with imco 2 inch shorties. My motors are making around 840 hp.

You can put in as much as you like, it's the getting out part that may disappoint you. My B1 blew with only 700hp on a light boat.

I had xr's, imco sc shorties, behind 800's in a 9800 lb boat - one drive let loose after first season. I wasn't hard on them. Seems like varying experiences with other members. I ended up changing over to scx/sc's

well if the info on his tag to the left is current, the fountain isn't what I would call light! like say a velocity. its strong as all hell but light weight I'm not feeling it. I will run a bravo xz brand new, imco -2" 1 1/4" shaft and a drive oil cooler, shower, and pray, I wont do any hole shots either.my hull is Kevlar velocity 280 . w/ procharged m3 dart, alum head efi apx 850/900hpon a river mostly

It just isn't a strong setup . If you want that kind of hp, save the tax money for a good drive.
