Default 2000 Crownline 225 LPX

Hoping you guys can help me out. I am looking at one of these tomorrow, but I can't find a price online for the LPX package. I think it is the same hull as the 225 BR, but with the lower profile windshield, silent choice exhaust, and graphics. Is that correct?
Any idea what a 2000 is worth? It's average to good condition with the 7.4L volvo, duoprops and a trailer.

There are also an 05 and 06, but they have the 5.7 volvo. These boats are priced 5 to 6k above the 2000 model.

Any idea what these boats will do top end with the 7.4 and 5.7 volvos and duoprops?

Thanks guys

If it helps any, I sold my 2002 225LPX about 3 yrs ago for $23,500. It had a VP 8.1 with silent choice. The LPX is the same as a BR, with a low profile windshield, and graphics. The 454 should run about 55, the SBC should be right at 50.

R U saying this has a 7.4 L in which is a carb engine rated 300 hp @ propshaft ? Carb engines for the 7.4 stopped in around 1996 to 1997 vintage for marine installs.

Gi if I recall was 310 hp and the 7.4 was a MPI engine - as your post # 1 the 7.4 L was carb 300 hp so really not much of an add on for value but currently stock fuel injected apps will bring a tad bit more money than stock carb engine apps.

The 225 runs better with the big block and even with the Volvo DP or Bravo III. We are talking rec boat here with stock engine installs in which 90% of the 225 are..

Sorry for the mixup. I didnt realize volvo nomenclature indicates 7.4L is something other than a 7.4 liter displacement engine.

So a 2000 w 7.4Gi and trailer... Guy is asking 22.9. Nada says the 225 BR is 14k. Toss in a few k more for lpx package, and 22.9 still seems quite steep. Thoughts?

Seems high to me.. Im thinking 12 -14 max. You can get a lot more boat for the money with other brands. If i was in the market for a 2000 year boat 23-25 ft, I would find one with a bad engine and drop in a 383. Then your good for another 10-15 yrs or so.

The LPX was only an add on package like you are saying low profile smoked windshield, silent choice exhaust out the sides, checker flag racing graphics, gel kote hull all red, or yellow and I think black to. Also possible driver and pass seat upgrade with flip up bolster but not 100 % on that one but for the early LPX might be. Also I think upgraded stereo and speakers.

IMO depending on complete condition, hours and hp range - price range 10 k thru 17.5 K and that would on the best of the best at 17.5 k.
