Hi. I have some pretty stubborn skuffs on my keel from the center bunks, loading and unloading related. You can feel minor groves when you drag your finger nail up and down the scuffs. They are black (carpet color) on white gel. Mainly want to get rid of the black scuffs, maybe smooth down the groves a tad in the process, I have waxed the area, but they reappear.
Im not handy with a buffer, but friend has one to loan me.
Any suggestions of what to use as a first timer?
Thanks in advance.

ok, anybody used Mr. Clean Magic Eraser on white gel coat? I know to use it sparingly, focused where needed, and that will require wax to be reapplied. Question for the forum, thoughts on magic eraser taking off the rub/black scuffs from the bunks????

ok, thought I would post an update. Used Mr. Clean Magic eraser on my white gelcoat. I worked like magic! Yes, took out all the black in the streaks! Yes, the micro grooves are still in the gel (this stuff is not 1000 grit), but got the black out! Followed up by hand with polish, then with wax. Stand back a foot and cant tell they were ever there. I will keep this product on hand. Highly recommend.....
