How cani buld more hP with my stock mercury 525 efi?

Doable, this is a 500 EFI with the throttle body converted to mono plate, 525 flame arrestor and upper intake CC'ed to flow 1100 CFM we did 2 years ago. We are currently working on a 650-700 HP project from a 525 EFI.

+2 on the whipple . I would call that fast food style drive through window got it done . It will still be expensive .but now you have 2 irons in one fire. Or for you with twins , 4 irons in 2 fires . The usa is big . If your in south usa that means if your 1400hp fountain blows something and it will prob be a block , you can get back out there and be fast again ,quicker.and probably cheaper.
