Default Difference between speedy 2's

I'm running 2's on my chris cat, or should I say breaking drives every year. Upgrading after summers over for sure but trying to get through till then. The 2's I have now tapers back from the nose cone upward like the 3's and 5's. I found a set that don't taper from the nose cone, their straight down with no taper to the bullet. Why? Are they the same? The prop shafts in the pics look to be shorter on the square nose.any advice would be helpful. Thanks

I'm not an expert, but mine were the same way. I had one that tapered and one that was straight that someone formed a piece or aluminum to match the taper of the other one. I guess they are different years. I think the earlier ones were straight down.

Have also found out that the prop shaft on the older strait ones are shorter as well. Mine are little over 7"s, the older ones are little over 5"s.
