Default Hatch ram what does it connect to ?

Can someone post a pic of what the hatch ram connects to on the hatch to make it open ? Boat is 242 Ls I feel like I'm missing a piece or does the hatch just open slightly then flip open manually ? Thanks

It should connect to a bracket on the underside. Here's a few pics from my old 303...

With a single 242ls, the hatch lift ram is on the port side, and attaches to a rail that goes around the aft side of the hatch to help distribute the load since it is being pushed up from the side rather than the center. A search of 242 should show a pic of it.

the actuator should open the hatch, but there is a arm that goes across the hatch to help it lift evenly. don't have any pics boat is still covered, hopefully next weekend. At least the ice is off the river but the oxbow still has ice. Ill try to get some pics if you need them.

How did it go with that 525sc? Did you ever say, we're curious. Takes about 500 horse to run an honest 70 in that hull.

It looks like you have all the pieces the arm should connect to the top of the ram with a pin.
