Looking for someone in the nj/ny area to complete the first layout of the cockpit upolstry. I have changed the wood and have the old vinly. . its just the fists 6 inchs /I would like replaced and matched best it can be matched without going to Formula. boat is for sale.as well.

well I Went the CraigsList route, had to get the new pieces over to them since I would be in hospital for a bit. my mom dropped them off, I was very specific to my needs, even wrote the needs down. was a simple part of cockpit seat and a strip of about 5 ft insert. it came out to be a disaster. coloros didn't match, screw holes didn't line up on the new wood, the single piece came out to be same size, I told him I needed it 4 inches longer. To make matters worse they remand rude and would not even speak to me about fixing the issue stating it was my problem, no refunds. The name of company is Shore uUlostry at 79 south main in Barnegat NJ. His name is Joe. There is nothing I can do but just eat it. Wwhat a rude company, also goes by the name of sticthworks, heard he has changed his name many times and moved. THey wont even take my msg or call me back. his biggest concern was getting paid in cash and up front....should of known then. but right now 2 month waiting list for good uplostry guys/woman.Just makes me so Angry when people cant understand directions, make a mes and blame the customer. frustrating. Hope Karma works. spent a lot of money for nothing.

From your first post, what do you mean "replace the first 6 inches"? Are you wanting to have the cockpit redone?

No, in the 88' 29pc the cockpit comes in a few pieces, most was fine , the edge piece had a rip and a piece that just sits with velcrow between two secure pieces shrunk over the yrs and needed to be extended A few inches. This company just replaced as same size.

Oh, I see. Sounds like a pretty simple job as far as upholstery goes. You should put them in the beware section too as it gets more visibility.
