The headliner on my 1996 330SS was sagging down . . . fabric had separated from the foam etc. So, today I took the headliner out and plan on doing a refurb.
I removed all of the fasteners, which are under the light fixtures.

The headliner is pretty well trapped in between the cabinet on the port side and the restroom on the starboard side. After some wiggling and gyrations, I got the headliner to come out . . . at least the center section. The outer sections seem to be OK. I had to cut the wires for the lights . . . so I will do those with connectors.

While the headliner is down, I am going to run some wiring for a windlass, to be installed at later time . . .

It looks like I should buy some new material. Anyone know the match for the light gray headliner material??? I know I could ask Formula, but it has probably been done several times here, wondering if anyone has that info handy. (thanks)

A couple of quick updates . . .
Foam back is pretty well trashed, so I will definitely need new stuff,

I also have noticed that the headliner is made up of 2 pieces of 1/4" plywood, bonded together with a 1/2" ply backing piece. To make re-installation easier, I plan on separating the headliner at its joint and installing it as 2 sections rather than 1. I will make the 1/2" backing piece part of the wider section and then use a couple of screws to attach the longer section during installation. Even though these screws, will show, I think it will make installation so much easier.

Now the search for headliner material. . . It looks like this project just went 2X on my original expectations
